The present catalogue was published on the occasion of the exhibition “Takis: Cosmos in Motion”, which took place at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC) from June 23 to November 7, 2021, in collaboration with the Takis Foundation – Research Center for the Art and the Sciences (Κ.Ε.Τ.Ε.).
The publication presents, through the photographic lens of Panos Kokkinias, 46 representative works by the leading Greek artist in the public spaces of the SNFCC, introducing Takis to a new generation, as well as providing those already familiar with his work with a fresh perspective on its significance. Additionally, the artworks’ installation process at the SNFCC is also presented in the present catalogue.
Both the exhibition and its accompanying publication were realized by an exclusive grant from the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF).
